Project Summary

The client needed a complete website overhaul. Their existing WordPress site was slow, difficult to manage, and didn’t reflect the professionalism of the event. I took on the full project, delivering a complete redesign, Webflow development, CMS integration, content migration, and on-page SEO.

Client Need

The festival team wanted a website that would run faster and perform better than WordPress, while also being simple to update with new films, schedules, and archive content. They needed a platform that would offer a smooth experience for international visitors and support their SEO efforts to improve visibility and attract a wider audience.

My Approach

I redesigned the website with a modern and clean look that highlighted the festival’s identity and international scope. The project involved a full migration from WordPress to Webflow, with a custom CMS integration that made managing content such as the film archive, schedules, and news effortless. I imported and structured the festival’s past archives, set up on-page SEO and a content strategy to strengthen search rankings, and optimized performance and responsiveness across all devices.

Results

The result was a modern and professional website that is significantly faster than the old WordPress version and much easier to maintain without technical knowledge. It is SEO-friendly, helping the festival attract more international visitors, and it provides a professional online presence that reflects the prestige of the event.
